Most of the posts on this particular site are my personal attempts to use a critical pedagogy perspective.

I think that the web has changed everything and that it is time to change our outmoded system of industrial education in some very fundamental ways. This won't happen without provocation.

My understanding of critical pedagogy has been derived from a study of the works of Paulo Freire, Ivan Illich and Henry Giroux .

Critical Pedagogy is a major field of academic study. Articles are regularly published in peer-reviewed journals such as:
